Vezzano Ligure is a quiet 7,300-inhabitant centre
located near La Spezia at the end of the Levante Ligure
and close to the border with Tuscany. An easy reach by
car and train, the city (270 mts. a.s.l.) is set in an
area where sea and entroterra meet, jealously preserving
ancient rural traditions, histories and wisdoms.
This settlement of Roman origins (presiding the Magra
and Vara rivers from the hills) passed through time
under several dominations – Genoese, Napoleonic, Savoy
-, the destiny of numberless Ligurian localities. |

features the remains of ancient walls, which once
surrounded the whole perimeter, and a tranquil centro
